From Bolivia, To Our Kitchen

The Cuñape Company started with the two of us (Anna & Santi), and our shared love of food, culture, and bringing people together.

Santi was born and raised in Bolivia, where cuñapes are apart of home. These traditional Bolivian cheese bites are served warm and enjoyed with coffee, shared at family gatherings, or picked up at a local bakery for a quick snack. After Anna fell in love with Bolivia,  its culture, and its food, we realized just how hard cuñapes were to find back home in the US. So, we decided to change that!

What has now started in our kitchen with lots of recipe testing (and a ton of cheese) turned into The Cuñape Company! We make all of our cuñapes in small batches for them to be baked perfectly (golden on the outside and cheesy on the inside) + It is naturally gluten-free!

For us, cuñapes are more than just cheese bites. It is about sharing a piece of Santi's home, introducing more people to the Bolivian culture, and bring people together one Cuñape at a time!
